Proper Clearing of Handgun

1. Attempt to put the weapon on safe.

    If there is no safety or the weapon does not go on safe, go to step 2.

2. Remove the source of feed. (take the magazine out)

3. Lock the slide to the rear.

4. Conduct a 3x point check. (Chamber,Slide face, and Magazine well)

Note: All steps done with weapon pointed in safe direction and finger off of the trigger
